Today in my CSC 212 class, I told my students, “A database is a system that stores, organises, and manages data.” Technically correct. But it pained me. Our curriculum gives us more room to teach definitions than to build things. Imagine students memorising less and actually building a database themselves. That’s when the real learning begins.

People overestimate how many of their followers are active at a given time and get frustrated when their post doesn’t reach 100% of their followers.
When we add 3-hour data, it will be obvious how much time it takes for a post to reach all active followers.
