This is an interesting question. If aliens are real, why do you think haven't they made contact yet?
I've heard Joe Rogan talk about this a bunch. Maybe we're just too primitive for them to bother communicating with.
But if you think about it, humans have always been fascinated by things less advanced than us. We still are. We study animals, insects, isolated tribes, ancient civilizations...
Then there's the darker possibility that Joe has discussed in the past, maybe advanced civilizations deliberately stay quiet.
