AI;DR is my new favorite phrase Gonna start using it to reply to people 馃槃
The usefulness of Amazon鈥檚 6-page memo has been nuked by AI-generated text (employees sit in meetings suspecting text is AI and tune out). Suspicious memos tagged as AI;DR (AI, didn鈥檛 read).

Today an unemployed recent grad told me he wished he was born in time for the rat race To wear a tie, work in a nice office, and be told what to do To have certainty about the future And we considered it hell 5 years ago

Build something so early there's no benchmark for it yet

Another angle to this is that dogs effectively stumbled onto what is for them the equivalent of artificial superintelligence 20,000 years ago. The Singularity already happened for dogs. They live in a world they cannot understand, surrounded by miraculous wonders they take entirely for granted, their every need seen to by entities whose thoughts they cannot begin to fathom. The result is that there are about a billion dogs on the planet now. Most of them are pretty happy. Almost none of them need to work. It worked out pretty well for them.

If you studied 13 years to become a radiologist (undergrad + med school + residency), I have bad news for you
Instead of paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for a """doctor""" to take an X-Ray, you can get one for free from ChatGPT. My hand has been hurting like hell lately, but it turns out it's totally fine!

I have a few friends who want to sell their data to AI labs They own brick and mortar stores like restaurants, book stores Is there demand for this? Most of my research friends are focused on white collar data

Great startup opportunity: build autonomous pen testing for new apps and app updates If you're building this, happy to help w/ advice/connections!
More people should know: app stores are quite literally drowning in AI slop They have to manually review apps to maintain integrity of their platform, but suddenly they're getting 100x submissions Millions of users are leaving This might the end of app stores as we know them

I've also had people ask for my secrets to build a competing product! Totally shameless People expect AI to write code for them, and strangers to fill in the gaps 馃ゲ
some people really need a reality check 馃槀 "hey man, i'm building the exact same SaaS as yours, could you share me all your secrets so i can copy your whole architecture?" don't be that guy

I was hoping for 20 beta users Suddenly, the product started growing by 20 people *each day* Don't listen to the doomers- there has never been a better time to build!

**Edit to clarify: they were offering me $200 to talk to vendors on their platform. I wasn't paying them and wouldn't be willing to pay for a service like this. Thanks for your understanding!

This is a real user review I just got The product solves their biggest pain point, but they won't use it because it's AI Half the population has been brainwashed

Should we get rid of the $1m prize, since the remaining problems will be solved by large corporations?

There's a viral skill going around, that makes your agent more concise. It has 30k stars on Github. I had high hopes, but after trying it for the last week, it doesn't live up to the hype. The reason is interesting: Anthropic/OpenAI charge 5x more for output tokens than input. Thus, they're incentivized to make output unnecessarily long. Open-weight models are a lot more concise, because they don't have this conflict of interest!
