Ukraine was winning the war, so Trump kneecapped Ukraine to help Russia.
I wish it werenāt that simple, but it is. Our president is in bed with our enemies.

Imagine if in 1943 FDR had decided that the US would stop helping Britain and instead would side with the Third Reich. That's a bit like what President Trump is now doing by cozying up to Russia as it tries to destroy Ukraine. Utterly shameful. A humiliating moment for the US.

BREAKING: PANIC! Trump is DESPERATELY trying to stop Jack Smith from testifying in his own $10 billion lawsuit against the BBC.
Donald Trump sued the BBC for defamation, asking for a whopping $10 billion in damages. Now, heās panicking about the one witness who might actually know something about the behavior that led the British broadcaster to publish what it did.
According to The New Republic, the BBC subpoenaed former special counsel Jack Smith to testify as part of its defense against Trumpās defamation suit. The suit claims the network defamed him with deceptive editing in a 2024 documentary about the January 6 Capitol attack.
Trumpās lawyers filed a motion Friday to block the deposition, arguing that āSmith lacks any personal knowledge regarding the issues in this matter.ā
Their reasoning: Smith wasnāt at the January 6 speech, didnāt help prepare it, and canāt know what Trump was thinking. They say anything he gathered was āsecondhand knowledgeā from materials collected from other sources.
The BBCās lawyers werenāt impressed. They wrote that ānone of [Trump]ās arguments for blocking the deposition of Mr. Smith can withstand scrutiny.ā They noted that Smith himself doesnāt object to testifying, and that Trump still has to prove he ādid not foment or incite the January 6 Capitol riot,ā which he claims the documentary falsely implied.
Then came the line that says it all: āNo one forced Plaintiff to file this lawsuit and to dispute that his speech on January 6 incited the violence that followed at the Capitol. But as long as he chooses to maintain the case, he cannot commit the fundamental injustice of preventing the BBC from obtaining the evidence it needs to robustly defend itself.ā
This isnāt Trumpās only dodge. His attorneys are also fighting efforts to make Trump himself testify, to subpoena his children, and to look into his finances. Trump sued over what the BBC said about January 6, and now heās fighting every attempt to examine what actually happened.
Thereās another problem for him. The BBC is funded by British taxpayers, so Trump canāt bully it into a hefty settlement or force it to back off its coverage the way he has with some American media companies.
So now he has two choices: drop the case, or actually try to prove his point and live with the consequences.
If Trump really believes he did nothing wrong on January 6, a deposition should be no problem. His lawyersā desperation suggests otherwise.
Please like and share if you canāt wait to hear what Jack Smith has to say if the BBC successfully gets him to testify!

We suspected this was the reason Ukraineās access to Starshield was restricted. But to see it from senior officials in this reporting is still utterly unconscionable.
Letās be absolutely clear about what this means. The Trump Administration deliberately restricted technology Ukraine relies on to intercept Russian drones and ballistic missiles. It made it harder for Ukraine to defend itself and easier for Russia to carry out its deadly attacks against Ukrainian civilians.
They knew exactly what was at stake. They knew that more Russian drones and missiles would get through, allowing Russia to kill even more Ukrainians. And yet they went ahead anyway.
This is a deliberate weaking of Ukraineās defenses that only Russia will benefit from. It is a betrayal of our ally that this Administration cannot wash its hands of.
The American people deserve to know who made this decision, why they made it, and how they can possibly justify putting more innocent Ukrainian lives in the crosshairs of Putinās war machine.

Donald Trump canceled his scheduled Oct. 16 deposition in his lawsuit against the BBC because of "matters of national importance."
The BBC alerts the judge that those matters were: a rally in Dalton, Ga. and a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago.

ALT The BBC submits this Notice to raise newly available information regarding the āmatters of national importanceā that Plaintiff claimed kept him from his scheduled deposition. As the BBC now knows, on October 16, Plaintiff attended and addressed a campaign rally in Dalton, Georgia, alongside Plaintiffās favored candidates in Georgiaās upcoming U.S. Senate and gubernatorial elections. US Defense Secretary Hegseth is blocking the transfer of a significant batch of Patriot interceptors to Ukraine, already paid for by allies, ā Kyiv Independent
Ā
A contract for Patriot missiles is sitting on Pete Hegseth's desk, but he is not signing it, a Ukrainian senior official and two military personnel told the publication. According to the official, this raises suspicions that Washington is deliberately holding back weapons to pressure Ukraine against the backdrop of intensified Russian ballistic strikes on Kyiv and other cities.
Ā
The official added that the missiles had already been paid for by Ukraine's allies.
Ā
Recall that earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has already paid for the weapons, but the US is delaying part of the deliveries, and this is "not a technical issue."
