The purpose of a university is not to train skills. It's to promote the pursuit of knowledge. Higher education exists to stoke curiosity, fuel discovery, foster debate, encourage critical thinking, and develop the next generation into more sophisticated learners.

Create automatic rules around the things that help you be the best version of yourself. In the moment that matters, choices are inconsistent. Rules never fail. One rule I adopted is that I'm in bed by 11 every night because sleep is so important. Adopt 1 automatic rule a month

Often we get trapped in the continuum of specialized learning. We learn a fixed curriculum through K-12 and then specialize in a major only to graduate university and specialize in a job.
