A completely new #Drupal CMS was just announced at the #DrupalConPortland Driesnote. Drupal Starshot will leverage Drupal Core but have a different governance model to move quickly, allowing for more innovation.

The @gitlab integration on Drupal.org has improved a lot recently. Core testing is now twice as fast as the legacy custom DrupalCI testing system (drupal.org/i/3375826). There is also direct visibility and access to gitlab CI results on project pages.
