Very warm for early April across the south where temperatures have reached 23°C today, making today the warmest day since the 21st September 2024.
Further north and east, it has felt distinctly chilly with highs of 8°C in Edinburgh
Scouts is my DNA, I’ve done some incredible things and have been involved over a period of huge change. I am just a regular but dedicated volunteer & listening to @DwayneFields on @BBCr4today reflecting on our movement, his life & the future, humbling. He’s a great choice #proud
Absolutely loved writing this piece about two young Ukrainian boys becoming fluent in English after joining the @scouts. Thanks to @Scoutsscarter and @lisareade for all your help with this!

Tears were shed
What a day! Caught up with Chief Scout @DwayneFields who #rambled in #eppingforest with @clarebalding - next worked with Dwayne & @gwynethrees on a @Telegraph piece. Then privileged to hear @6thGosportScout talk to @lynnrusk about their support for two Ukrainian families #proud
