"When you weaponize the DOJ against political opponents, it's a threat to democracy. When we do it, it's a virtue!" - Elisa Slotkin perfectly lays out the Democrats' platform.
Spare me the pearl-clutching — especially from Republican Members of Congress and online MAGA grifters who have cheered President Trump's weaponization of the government against those he doesn’t like, as recently as last week. This is a subject I know something about: Less than a year ago, Trump directed the DOJ and FBI to investigate me, and then tried to criminally indict me for a 90 second video, exercising basic free speech. The same free speech you’re exercising now, lying about what I said in this clip. If not for an anonymous group of grand jury members standing up for America's laws, I’d be criminally indicted for sedition. President Trump has turned the government against people, with raucous support from you and virtually all D.C. Republicans. So spare us the manufactured outrage.
America must be a place where the rule of law still matters. Those laws should apply to everyone equally. If you have aided in the corrupt use of U.S. taxpayer dollars to benefit the President or his family, or you have violated the law in order to carry out guidance from the President, you should be held accountable. And given how rampant that corruption appears to the average American, people looking to work for his Administration should realize that while the Supreme Court has granted the President immunity, it has not done the same for those who do illegal things at his behest.
God bless this woman. I lived in Augusta for 7 years. Imho, places like Augusta, Columbus, Mobile, etc are different than other cities because they don’t have a traumatic/famous civil rights event associated with it. It makes a difference.
Black woman shares that she voted early in Georgia.
“[Democrats] were hoping to leave the border open long enough, so that a large majority of foreigners could come in here & overcrowd us black people out.”
“We have been played.”
“We have been played for fools.”
“We have been misused.”
“We have been abused by the democrats.”

Why did school desegregation fail?
"Part of the problem is rooted in the manner in which integration was imposed in the first place--not by will of the people, expressed through Federal law or constitutional amendment, but by court decree reversing eighty years of settled construction."

If I was a veteran who was wounded or seriously injured while serving it would bother me that so many fraudsters get the same benefits. There is no way 36% of veterans deserve disability. If you served, you know exactly who these lazy, lying assholes are.
This is true about women and makes sense.
When I say that women lack the concept of an honorable enemy, this is what I’m talking about.
Obviously a lot of the Democrats’ new vindictiveness is Trump derangement, but the Great Feminization is part of the story, too.
Men understand that the other guy is a professional just like me, and we should have an open fight by fair rules and both go home at the end of the day.
For women, conflict isn’t over until the other side is gone and they never have to talk to them again.
Men believe in hierarchy, so a fight is about establishing dominance within the hierarchy and making the other guy subordinate.
Women don’t, everything is egalitarian and consensus-driven, so if you do get conflict, the only possible outcome is total exclusion from the group.
It makes sense that the Democratic Party is abandoning old-fashioned ideas about honorable conflict as it becomes more dominated by women.
I’ve long thought the potential for a 2nd Civil War was ridiculous. But if something could potentially drive states to secede again, it’s the prospect of this guy becoming a U.S. Senator.

Facts.
Nostalgic memes spread misleading messages, like:
“Once, families could own a home & send their kids to college on one income.”
But the homes were smaller.
Most kids didn’t go to college.
The memes ignore facts.
We give them to you:
Bigger Homes, Better Cars, Longer Lives: The Truth About Today
Nostalgic memes are all over the internet, spreading false messages like this: “Once upon a time, a family could own a home, a car & send their kids to college, all on one income.” But it’s a myth.
The enlightenment of a liberal is a powerful thing to behold. It never fails,.. introduce an upper class liberal to welfare grifters and they instantaneously become a fiscal conservative.
Caleb Hammer completely unloads on a Louisiana couple after learning their $100,000 household is collecting $500 a month in FOOD STAMPS.
That’s $6,000/year in TAX-FREE income.
HAMMER: “That PISSES me off.”
That $6,000 cushion is exactly what lets them blow $3,600 a year eating out.
Taxpayers cover the groceries so they can hit the restaurants.
Hammer was so disgusted he stopped talking to them and started ranting under his breath, while the couple sat frozen in stunned silence.
Maybe everyone gaming the system should have to sit across from a taxpayer and explain themselves.
Something tells me the look on Hammer’s face will haunt them the next time they eat out.
Watching James Lindsay unapologetically sperg out is the most enjoyable and unexpected thing to occur in the year of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
And he’s so out of touch with reality, I suspect he thinks he has impenetrable armor because it’s 2026.
Practically, I don’t like political infighting - it’s a gift to the left. But seeing Claremonsters trading blows with James Lindsay has been extremely enjoyable. I would have paid $ to watch this, but I saw it for free 😎

Checking in on the lunacy….
The claim here is that @AmandaMilius, an American (Jewish) right winger who worked at State in the first Trump admin, and was part of moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, is possibly giving out some kind of groyper dog whistle because a picture of [squints hard at notes]…George Kennan…is in the background of a picture of her at the State Department.
LMAO.
Is George Kennan in the room with you now, James?
Do we need to cancel everyone who has been influenced by…George Kennan?
I couldn’t have written a better script for our critics than how it played out after we were asked and went to Jerusalem to deliver some honest truths, as we respectively understand the situation on the American right. (I also learned a lot about the Israeli right. I’ll note that a lot of younger Israelis said they agreed with what I said there and had very interesting takes.)
Non-Jews who hate Vance suddenly white knighting against anti-semitism by looking for esoteric clues in photos of avowed Zionists. Perfection. On brand.
But we have a country to save, and a lot of malicious nonsense noise to silence with truth and clarity. Onward!

So, there's a thing here, and it's a dog whistle thing.
I don't know what Amanda thinks of Kennan, but I can read for myself what Michael Anton, Curtis Yarvin, Curt Mills, and Darryl Cooper think of him, and I can see for myself the postlibs coming out of the woodwork to defend this otherwise obscure creature of our past. I can see how he's held out as a "realist," which is the same deceptive brush they paint themselves with.
I can also see that NatCon itself has circulated an essay published in 2022 published in Asia Times holding Kennan out as an expert authority on the issues with Russia, in line with the views of the above.
So, I'm not saying what's there because I don't know, but I'll say something is definitely there. Amanda might know she's playing a signs and signifiers game, and I'm inclined to believe she knows she is/was, but I suppose there's just enough reasonable doubt to cause arguments and allow for slithering.
More background…
This has nothing to do with a picture of George Kennan and everything to do with what she (Amanda) said at the conference, ‘stop loosely accusing people of being antisemitic’. Her words were aimed at ppl like James, so this is his obvious response. 🤦🏻♀️
