Happy #InternationalWomensDay! To say the #NYbred program wouldn't be where it is today without the contribution of women would be a huge understatement. Meet a few in @BklynBckstretch's April '23 piece for New York Breeder! Members can access archives at nytbreeders.org/magazine.

How cool is that? Splendora is out of a daughter of former #NYsire and late ReRun/@lisaky72 ambassador Frost Giant! Dam Miss Freeze was bred in NY by Anthony Bruno.
Smiles across the board for Splendora’s connections!
They just won the @PNCBank #BreedersCup Filly & Mare Sprint!

New York's year-round racing program sustains over 19,000 jobs and has an annual impact of $3 billion!
Two years ago, we made a bold, $455 million commitment to Belmont Park. Today, that vision is becoming reality with one of the largest racetrack redevelopments in history!
Driving jobs, honoring legacy, and a world-class future for New York racing — that's a true Triple Crown 🐎

National Racehorse Day is an excellent idea but the core message it’s attempting to convey can be done on social media every single day
We should do that too

Is it #ThrowbackThursday? Three years ago today, Caledonian ran 6th in a maiden race at #Saratoga; he went on to win two stakes & $205K before retiring to @ReRunOTTB thru TAKE THE LEAD in March. He was adopted by Kaitey and is living the life in Canada! @rickschosberg @TheNYRA
