Apple's paternalism irks me. Finally needed to download XCode, so I finally set up an Apple ID ... and then my generated password isn't saved in my paste buffer, so when I need to finally log in, I can't log in, and I'm logged out of my new account for three days? Special UX.

Anyone who says that they don't occasionally have to search for answers is lying to you. Or has stagnated in their position.
Some of the best developers use Google to find a solution to their code-related issues. (Even the basics) Don't be too hard on yourself.

I don't get fanatical about languages/frameworks/clouds/anything-tech-wise, but I have to say that TypeScript and SCSS have both made my life inconceivably better and more productive.

I'm sure this is news to literally no one besides me, but the `--template typescript` flag for create-react-app means that maybe someday I won't think React is an unnecessarily popular framework.
