Hometown: Cookeville, TN 🤠 Undergraduate: Princeton University Medical School: Georgetown University School of Medicine, MS3 MedTwitter/X: @LisaGong Why PM&R? I love that PM&R gets to the heart of patients' values to make improvements that really matter to them in their day-to-day. From a teen with polyneuropathy who wants to live independently in college to an amputee father who wants to play ball with his sons, each PM&R patient I've worked with is supported to reach functional goals that don't just keep them alive but keep them wanting to live. 🥹 Interests in PM&R: General Rehab, Cancer Rehab, Pain Medicine, Palliative Care Interests/Hobbies Outside of PM&R: Visual design, journalism, taking photos of loved ones, practicing Spanish/Chinese to maintain my sad Duolingo streak (I aspire to be like my mom who’s on 1800+ days.)
