I know people are sick of hearing about Grok @bot because it feels like everyone is spamming posts about it so I've kept my mouth shut but this one...I feel like I HAVE to share it Grok Bot just built me the best reader mode extension I've ever used (and I've tried almost all of them) with an incredibly robust feature suite...IN ONE SHOT This is a game changing web experience for me and the work I do It's time to start thinking outside the box - if you don't like things about software or tools you're using, you can literally just build your own

The actual facts about SpaceX in Ukraine: - SpaceX is a private company with zero obligation to help Ukraine, yet it stepped up when governments dragged their feet. - Starlink and Starshield are not the same. Starshield is under U.S. government control. That is who made last night’s call. - Ukraine accounts for only a micro fraction of SpaceX’s revenue, while the company bears the risks of operating amid Russian attacks and geopolitical pressure. The financial return hardly justifies the exposure. SpaceX helps because it chooses to. Starshield access, meanwhile, is up to the US government. - SpaceX has every right to set limits on how its technology is used. They own it and bear consequences for it. This is while they actively collaborate to take down Russian access to Starlink that threatens to collapse Ukraine. - Throwing tantrums over not getting all your demands, including offensive use, or simply because Elon disagrees with you, while SpaceX risks its assets to help, says plenty about your character. - Demanding a company be nationalized so you can just take its product is the loudest confession that you cannot build anything. You can only steal. - Europeans should try to build their own. As a space fan, I'd celebrate it. - I don't care about the politics. But attacking the company that stepped up when it had no obligation to help is pathetic. The truth is, without Starlink saving Ukrainian communication in the early days, their reality would have severly looked very different today, and they should be grateful.

My first experience with FSD 14.3 Lite was amazing. Tonight it was raining and dark in my city and I got red hands on nearly every turn on 14.1. After landing at my destination, I got the upgrade notification. On my way back a couple hours later, now on 14.3, perfect drive. Yeah, TeslaSI is cooking!

I made my code faster while I slept. 🧪 Autoresearch is a free Grok Bot template, built on the loop Shopify open-sourced as pi-autoresearch (inspired by @karpathy's autoresearch). Huge thanks to them for proving it works. You give it a repo, a benchmark, and a correctness test. It tries one change at a time, keeps only the ones that pass the test and beat the benchmark, then hands you a single draft PR and a before-and-after report. In one run, swapping an ML tensor library for OpenCV gave a big speedup with identical output. It never pushes or merges without your OK. Try it: x.ai/bot/3KlUjmhl5Sd6MTCyGZj… shopify.engineering/autorese…

i love writing. i never let agents write for me. whether it's docs, or tweets, or shitposts, or even prompts (okay maybe that one's harder as agents manage other agents) there's a simple reason for that: i still strongly believe that writing is thinking. it's a skill i hope to never give up. it's also important to me that whatever i say is always authentic, mistakes and all. my favorite posts are the ones that i just full send without any editing i suspect it also helps with prompting. being able to clearly express what i want, and knowing the vocabulary i need to be able to direct my agents does seem to make for more effective usage of agents. in the same way that engineers have an advantage when we prompt agents to write code, because we are intimately familiar with the words that make up the discipline knowing the right word incantations to get an agent to produce a desired goal almost feels like spellcasting. as models get more capable, and that input box looks more and more like a magic box that can output anything, words become the interface between you and the genie there may come a time when we give up the keyboard in exchange for brain-computer interfaces. but until then, i'm writing every word.

Talked to a finance guy today who said his firm has not only totally stopped buying software in favor of building it all in-house, they've actually hired multiple SWEs to do the buildouts, even though their salaries cost more than the subscription fees they were paying. Having tools custom-built for their specific business is just that valuable. So they're not spending less money or saving time, versus the pre-AI world, but they're getting a much higher return on the money and time they are spending. Much to ponder

Merci Elon.
USAID sounds nice. US AID. As in the US is aiding the poor in need. That’s not what USAID was. It was the US Agency for International Development. Which funded regime changes and far Left causes. It spread Communism. It wasn’t about feeding the poor. It created the poor.
