After our stream waste spill last week, thankfully all wildlife intact! Mummy moorhen on her nest (at least 2 eggs). The heron- after the eggs - is a frequent visitor, but shooed away. Mr (or Mrs) Foxy out for a long while on bank today. Lovely to watch.

Spent a rain sodden Saturday intending to visit @MonksHouseNT - my great-aunt was L. Woolf's sister in law. But found a power cut on arrival. Our spirits lifted by a nice little church next door - and even more by the pub on the corner! 😄
