Almost at 200,000 signatures and still 11 days left until the debate in parliament. How fantastic would it be to that over 250,000 by the end of next week?
We are going to pass 200K signatures soon. You can be part of ending the privatised water scam; please sign and share widely. This will be debated in Parliament on 14 September - is your MP going? This is the link 👇👇👇 petition.parliament.uk/petit…

The Coldstream Guards Band performed Black Sabbath's masterpiece Paranoid outside of Buckingham Palace as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne on the day of his funeral. Don't let anybody tell you this isn't a great country. householddivision.org.uk/mus…

The beautiful light of this autochrome casts an ethereal aura around the crocheting child. Her name was Hélène Gélibert (niece of the Lumiere brothers, who invented the autochrome colour process). It was taken 115 years ago in the Monplaisir district of Lyon in France, in the glow of 1910. It is original colour (not colourised).

Here is the full interview I did today with Tina Nash. Her partner gauged her eyes out with his bare hands, to stop her ever seeing her children again 💔💔 He has now been moved to an open prison & she is terrified he is soon to be released… *Watch*: youtu.be/qGaIvUk9rAo?si=b4I4… *Sign*: The petition to say ‘NO’ to his release: change.org/p/stop-serial-vio… *Support*: Tina’s life is a living hell and she has barely had any support: gofund.me/012c8f1c Please, if you’re someone living within a domestic abuse environment, please ask for help 🙏🏻

Gisèle Pelicot is on the stand today and asked about her decision to continue using the surname "Pelicot". Gisèle explains that when the trial began her children were "ashamed" of the name. She adds: "I have grandchildren who are called that. "Today, I want them to be proud of their grandmother. "My name is known across the world now. They shouldn't be ashamed of carrying that name. "Today we will remember Gisèle Pelicot." Yes we will. What a woman. #ShameMustChangeSides

How can calling for a ceasefire be controversial? It’s literally asking people killing civilians to stop. You can ignore the calls, disagree with them or try to explain why the killing ‘must’ continue, but trying to silence calls to end this carnage goes against all our values.

There has been much discussion about the likely failure of Thames Water in the last day or so. I’ve been looking at the accounts of England’s water companies for the last twenty years. My conclusion is that they are all environmentally insolvent. So, a thread…..
