The boy on the left tried to kill himself multiple times, he ate his feelings and hated himself all because he couldn’t understand his trauma and didn’t know how to deal with his pain.
The man on the right tries to live life to the fullest, smiles frequently, respects his boundaries but most importantly, talks about that pain and works on strategies to process and let it go.
If you’re struggling, you’re not alone and you’re not hopeless. You’re loved and you have the potential to get through it and see life in a different way. It isn’t easy but it’s entirely worth it! Keep going!#WorldMentalHealthDay
