It’s wild how @FedEx has this massive global logistics system, but can't use it to actually help a customer when they mess up. Instead, it just stalls for time and gaslights.

So much for "When it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight."
Now it's "When we absolutely, positively lose your package, we'll gaslight you and tell you to contact yourself."
@FedEx, you have the logistics to fix this today. Let's make it happen.
The backstory: My wife lost her ID on our trip. TSA was being obtuse, so I had a friend overnight an expired backup ID using my FedEx account. I'm the shipper and the recipient. Should be simple, right?
