His face had looked like he was wincing at the touch, but that seemed to be out of reflex to the touch more than anything. He seemed okay though.. just reacting to the touch was all.

He woke only for a brief moment, forgetting to close the blinds? Terrible mistake, but too lazy to get up, so he's just gonna flip over to avoid the light. A yawn and a light stretch as a hand drapes onto Illyana's shoulder.

That sudden feeling had woke him up for just a second, tensed up only momentarily at the new added weight at his back. (Just focus... breathe Lin.. breathe.💧) Trying to keep his composure, hands under the pillow for additional support, eyes shutting to try and drift off again.

He was stuck over there gathering his bearings... how was she just gonna say that and then fall asleep?! He had finally gotten to rest, but it was not a deep sleep at all. It was still heavy on his mind, but he had relaxed just enough to let him rest.
