How Kimchi & Co. rugged Alon and the degens for $1.5M in 30 minutes. 19:31 — The token creator’s wallet gets funded via KuCoin. 19:42 — A new token is created. For those out of the loop: this is a SECOND token with the $KIMCHI ticker, while the original $KIMCHI was trading at a $20M MC at the time. 20:28 — Kimchi’s account posts a QR code linking to the new token. 20:34 — Alon retweets the post. 20:36 — Alon deletes the retweet. 21:08–21:10 — Kimchi deletes the post, updates its bio, and wipes its Pump.fun-related posts. The chart is a textbook Pump & Dump. Nobody announced that Kimchi’s Twitter had been hacked. So Kimchi posted it themselves. If Kimchi is a marketing project run by the Pump.fun team, they should have 100% control over it. So why did Alon retweet it? Most likely, someone sent him the tweet and he RT’d without reading it. Two minutes later, he realized that pumping your own runner with a second token was absolute nonsense, deleted the RT, and chewed Kimchi out. But then why did Kimchi delete ALL Pump.fun posts and retweets? Unfollow Alon? Wipe every trace of the partnership? The most likely explanation is that Alon cut ties with Kimchi over the extraction move with the second token. Waiting for the $PUMP airdrop? Still laughing? Even the guy with the legendary $40M $TRUMP PnL couldn’t stop a $1.5M fast rug. Our only hope is ZachXBT, who followed Kimchi exactly 48 hours before the rug pull.
