emotional post sorry but today marks three years since one of my favorite artists ever passed away. atsushi sakurai and his art have been a massive inspiration and source of joy for me and his way of seeing things is something i deeply resonate with. i love him a lot
i usually don't feel seen by artists like that, but atsushi did manage to achieve such a thing. i really do wish more people saw him for who he was rather than what he briefly looked like, as physically beautiful as he was. he's so worth listening to, even beyond the music.
