More amazing work by @DeanZacharyArt. Forging is a skill close to every Lightraider’s heart, an act of worship in mirroring the Creator.

GM. I finally have permission to announce the title of my upcoming sci-fi retelling of Verne’s classic Around the World in 80 Days (so I made a video). This novel is part of the Classics Rebooted collection launching from nine clean-fiction authors next month in a Kickstarter experiment.
Watch to the end to see the title (best with sound up). The story includes fantastic sci-fi art by @MapEffects. Unfortunately, I can’t show you that yet. His art is so great that the collection organizers want to save it for something special. Hopefully you’ll see it soon!
The link to the Kickstarter is in my bio.
For Lightraiders newsletter subscribers: No, our newsletter has not been hacked. Yes, we
messed up. Our volunteer team endured a comedy (tragedy?) of errors yesterday, and we’re so sorry for the confusion.
As part of our subscriber list maintenance, we sent out an “Are you there?” email meant for inactive subscribers. Due to a miscommunication, it went out to the entire list. Worse, a typo made the link in the “Confirm” button a dead page (please note that if you clicked that link, your response was still received).
So, we sent out an Oops message to explain what happened and correct the link. That also went horribly wrong. A glitch changed the sender address to the first email in our “sender” options, which is the president email for the Lightraiders project’s parent nonprofit (Ryan at Courser Media). Changing the sender also deleted the subject line, and we did not catch either change before the email was sent. Thus, you received an email from an unfamiliar address with the subject “untitled.”
Again, we apologize for the mishap. We are working to understand exactly what went wrong and to put a process in place to prevent this in the future.
Blessings,
The Lightraiders Team
James sat down with the venerable masters of the Fantastical Truth podcast to talk about fathers, faith, and discipleship and to catch them up on the Lightraiders nonprofit discipleship project. Definitely worth a listen!
"Most men don't read."
Sometimes that's a real trend.
Other times? it kind of feels like some forces don't want them to read.
But if you would train for dragon fights—as you should!—then you need more than preaching and podcasts.
You need stories like @lightraiders . 1/3

I'm in this one! Loved the challenge of helping write the game in which YOUR party journeys to defeat dragons and their corrupt allies. Plus employ Scripture and make good choices to earn valuable Wisdom Points.

The Lightraiders nonprofit project is creating an engaging, game-based youth discipleship curriculum for families, churches, and schools.
Our team is entirely volunteer, putting in more than 300 collective hours per month. They also shouldered the funding burden while we awaited 501(c)(3) status (and still do).
We can’t do this without you.
100% of your tax-deductible donation goes to creating and distributing the curriculum (no admin costs). Will you consider joining us with a monthly donation to advance Christian discipleship?

What a beautiful depiction of Emen Yan, capital of King’s Cradle in Tanelethar (the Dragon Lands).
So grateful to @smitchellmaps for this gorgeous work!

Have you tried drawing a map as a vector?
I decided to redraw the whole map I’ve been sharing with you in Adobe Fresco. Pretty happy with how it’s looking so far!
We are so honored that @smitchellmaps took on this art commission for Emen Yan in King’s Cradle. Our Lightraiders realm keeps growing in its beauty thanks to incredible artists like her.

Here’s the thing:
All of what John says here is true. Saw some of it with my own eyes. At some point this had to be done.
At the same time, the result, if we do it halfway or with half a will, is going to be ISIS-dominated chaos throughout the region.
So we’re in it now. Get on board. Pray like you never have before. Pray with your families. Pray with your friends. Encourage our troops. Encourage our national leaders. If not for them or our fighters, do it for the Iranian people.
We *must* have a unified national will to see this through all the way to an ending that doesn’t involve the suffering of millions.
Iran started a war against the United States in 1979 and has never stopped.
- 444 days of American hostages.
- 241 Marines murdered in Beirut.
- 603 U.S. troops killed in Iraq by Iranian-backed militias. Their proxies, agents, and Iranian IEDs attacking our soldiers (including me and my soldiers) daily.
- Over 170 attacks on U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria just last year.
- Assassination plots on our President on American soil.
- Ballistic missiles fired at U.S. bases.
For 47 years, the regime has targeted Americans.
All while expanding its nuclear program and building longer-range missiles designed to threaten the U.S., our allies, and global stability.
Failed diplomacy was tried for decades. Diplomacy was tried now. The President’s Article II duty is clear: protect the American people. IMO, he and we (the United States) @WhiteHouse @POTUS @michaelgwaltz @SecRubio @RapidResponse47 @SecWar are doing exactly that.
Health update from our developer James Hannibal.
God is good! Thank you for your prayers!
Praise report;
I’ve made it through 4 nights in a row without oxygen. The first three, I did two hours of saturation before going to sleep, but last night there was no need for the machine at all!
At this rate we’ll be able to send the machine back soon, and I can keep working on clearing the blood clots.
