You don’t get to stoke the fire at the beginning of the tournament by labelling our anti-racism message as ‘Gesture Politics’ & then pretend to be disgusted when the very thing we’re campaigning against, happens.
I am disgusted that @England players who have given so much for our country this summer have been subject to vile racist abuse on social media.
It has no place in our country and I back the police to hold those responsible accountable.

May Bank Holiday Weekend should be a long weekend full of weddings for couples and work for suppliers. Instead, we have restrictions, no guidance, no insurance, no pilot events and weeks of continued stress before any hope of normality.
Enough is enough. #whataboutweddings

We are asking as many of you as possible to submit a similar question to this to the gov daily briefings:
When uncontrolled outdoor areas and non-essential retail can open, why won’t the Government allow zoos and safari parks to reopen?

Thanks to everyone who attended the fireworks. A great display by Distant Thunder. Kate @copperblossom_ took a series of great photos. This is one. (A couple of drones filmed the event. We'd love to see the footage if you're willing to share.)
