gm gm. Some of my collected work on @foundation.
Unfortunately B&W reportage work is not the flavor of the month. Never was, really. Curiosity about the world and being non-judgmental about the multitude of cultures in it are prerequisites.
These images are about the other, and, paradoxically, about me (and the viewer), because self and other are but poles of the same field.
It is said that we only start appreciating what no longer is present. Documentary photography therefore is an important piece of the puzzle that is our existence. As the world turns evermore inwards I will continue to focus my lens outwards and hope that there's sufficient support to be able to do that.
But even in the absence of said support I will find a way to continue as it connects me to the wonder of it all, and that, my friends, is all that one could hope for in this magnificent journey called life.

When the outcome of a game is known, the game is cancelled—because the whole point of playing the game is that we don’t know the outcome. Because the known future is already past, and the higher the degree of certainty of knowledge as to the future, to that extent it has happened. You’ve had it. And we don’t want to put the future in that situation—not really.
Because, you see, if you think of the cosmos as basically a game of hide-and-seek—where the lord god is creating the universe by forgetting that he’s god and imagining that he’s you—then this is the fundamental way of getting rid of the eternal boredom of knowing all about it, and of there being no surprises.
The whole vitality of being alive is that it is always surprising. To be enlightened is to be surprised at everything; that it is a wonder, that everything is a miracle, that it is highly improbable and really shouldn’t’ve happened at all—but there it is, you see? If there isn’t that sense, there is no vitality in anything.

Regard everything that you are doing as play, and don’t imagine for one minute that you’ve got to be serious about it.

Some of the greatest ideas that have changed culture and the course of history were discovered when the person was bored and let their mind wander into imagination.
When we live glued to our screens, we lack these moments and thus miss the ways that the creative spirit is trying to speak to us.
Do not underestimate the power of letting your mind wander. Your imagination holds the key to creating a more beautiful world.

“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.”

"Completely at peace with the transitory nature of life she folded her wings for the last time, lay down on a bed of freshly fallen leaves, and let her spirit rise to heights unknown into realms unknowable.
Fully aware that this scene, too, would vanish without a trace I stood there silently, before, in a vain attempt to capture the ineffable, I took a photograph."

gm gm all you playful souls. Life's a dance, a game of hide and seek with the Self. Realizing this unity has been called many things: liberation, moksha, rapture. The purpose of the dance is to dance, understand that and the dance becomes child's play. opensea.io/collection/work-p…

A question: if migrating my work from Foundation contract to Manifold contract costs anything, why would I care to migrate? Instead, I could just mint again this same work on Manifold contract whenever I want. Would there be anything wrong with that? Would anyone care? 🤔
Nothing new under the sun. Shakespeare knew it.
“The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve,
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind.”

Without Israel, West Asia would be one of the most peaceful and prosperous places on earth, attracting hundreds of millions of tourists every year: free trade, free human movement, religious freedom, equality for all, no oppression, no puppet regimes, no sectarianism. culture, history, hospitality, food, music, sea, spirituality. Israel has been the ruin of some of the world's most fascinating and precious regions

The current US government is not capable of agreement. It is run by New York Jewish Mafia figures whose approach is "do what we say or we will fu*king have you killed."
The world does not work that way anymore. Or at least it is waking up to those tactics and is developing a resistance.
Iran should immediately develop nuclear weapons and tell Witkoff and Jared and the rest of the Kosher Nostra to GFY.
And it would be GOOD for America, because we could finally focus on our own country instead of being subservient to Israel, a foreign country.
No $1.5 trillion military budget. $400 billion and then reduced by one half every year subsequently.
And Israel could benefit as well as they could finally learn that they cannot continue to live in their parents' basement smoking dope and have all their "needs" taken care of from the sweat of Americans' labor.
Stop fu*king killing women and children and get yourself some therapy. You are not chosen by God. You are just murderers. Repent. Join the human race.
