How far can you saturate a fall color photo before everyone can tell?
27
New England colors are definitely something special, but do you have a freshwater ocean you can swim in while enjoying the view?

The Renaissance was an immune response to the first information overload crisis, triggered by the printing press. We are about to experience the same thing, only as a response to the slop overload crisis—and it will be incredible

Monogamous marriage, which enables the extended family and provisions resources across generations, constitutes deep cultural technology. We evolved and developed this technology over generations as our culture grew in complexity. Marriage is not the default state or institution of our species. It represents the advancement of multiple seemingly unrelated concepts: honor, contract law, fidelity, inheritance, romantic love, etc. We had to develop marriage to climb out of the muck of prehistory. The reason it has declined in certain populations or social classes lies in two things that are corrosive to durable institutions: the overemphasis on the individual and the inability to plan beyond the present moment.
Marriage data reveals traditional nuclear families are disappearing across US - with a rate of just 13% in one major city trib.al/Ux4t1VL

Swimming in Lake Michigan in October, got a new garage, scored a sub zero counter depth fridge for 400 bucks and had my friend do an orthomosaic flyover with his drone. Good day

Checking in from northern Michigan. Peepers out in droves. I used to live on this road and October was rough, now I own a business on it and it’s our season
Pretty much every Vermont town this weekend. Traffic and people everywhere. Wilmington shown here. All for some muted past peak fall foliage. Peak was about 7-10 days ago.

I eat normal healthy (not neurotic) and got my wife pregnant on our honeymoon on the first try. You guys don’t HAVE to be like this, no shade to the “maxxxers”, but they’re performance artists
the year before my future husband impregnates me, these are the non-negotiable rules for him: - 4 tbsp of shilajit, 6 tbsp of pine pollen, & 8 tbsp of tongkat ali daily - no wifi, no phone, no bluetooth - limit of 16 cigarettes a day - panax ginseng administered intravenously weekly - 76 oysters a week. he must shuck them himself. - raw royal jelly enemas every morning. - ball sunning for a minimum of 4 hours a day - winter? don't care. ball sunning - must spend multiple months hunting in the woods on his own. I want warrior children. - elk velvet antler daily (but it has to be from an elk he hunted) - sol brah magnesium extra concentrated on balls 4x a day - raw meat only (I will make him great tartare) - semen retention the entire year. if he messes up, we start again. - Kisspeptin on the reg - must sleep on the floor to maintain ancestral spinal integrity - must chew greco gum all hours of the day - 1 bag of masa chips a day - must wear a Faraday cage around his balls

It's a pagan unchristian world and chivalric love died midway through our parents' generation. Learn to enjoy the slutty feral side of humanity & sacrifice (upon the altar of hypermodernity) all preconception of ownership or belonging or devotion. Weep quietly lest they hear you

Coffee drinkers, does it bother you knowing you are physically addicted to a substance and need it to function normally? Would you not prefer being able to feel clear-minded and energetic without chemical assistance?

The robots are not writing emails. There’s a difference between ai and robots silly
why aren’t the robots working in the mines and oil fields and handling toxic chemicals or picking plastic out of the ocean? why are they writing emails and making powerpoint presentations? what the hell are we doing

Why yes, Northwest Michigan is not only not Midwestern, it is completely outside categorization altogether
I will continue posting my map until it is widely adopted
