Is there any team in the NFL that the Philadelphia Eagles could beat right now? Pretty sure the Chargers would beat them by more than a touchdown. The Dolphins would definitely beat them.
The only reason this Eagles defense hasn’t given up 30 points this game is because the Commanders are bad.
The fact that the Eagles are continuously so clueless about how to pick up/attack a blitz is the most damning indictment of Nick Sirianni’s leadership. Couldn’t pick up a blitz last year, can’t pick up a blitz this year.
Is there any member of the Philadelphia Eagles defense that hasn’t underperformed this season? Even the guys who were expected to be the weak links have been even worse.
I’m beginning to think the only offense the Eagles defense could stop is the Eagles (but I’m not confident about that).
If the Eagles defense is going to half-ass it for the rest of the season, then they’re the worst team in football. They might have some talented players but every other team, even the ones without talent, at least tries.
So the Eagles defense is just as engaged as they were against the Cowboys. Glad that they decided to step up and play with pride.
Running away from Grayson Allen and leaving him wide open for a 3 is certainly a choice for the Sixers.
Who could the Eagles beat right now? Honestly. Maybe Miami? The Chargers are a mess but I still wouldn’t pick the Eagles against them.
The Eagles defense basically quit before this game even started. They’ve played (and been coached) all night like they couldn’t care less.
Dak Prescott could just stand in the pocket for 20 minutes if he wanted to. The Eagles still wouldn’t be able to get near him.
Seriously, the Eagles defense is way more disappointing than the offense. Nobody thought the offense was going to be anything special, even with Hurts. Fangio’s defense is supposed to be great and they’ve been awful more often than not.
How many times this season have the Eagles defensive line not been pushed backwards? They have gotten shoved around by every offensive line they’ve played.
