Social Security’s 2027 COLA is 3.6%, a whole $75 more a month on average. Wow, don’t spend it all in one place, retirees. Not trying to be ungrateful for the automatic inflation catch-up, but $75 doesn’t even cover a decent grocery run when everything else keeps getting more expensive. The people who paid into this system for decades deserve better than a token bump that still leaves them behind. Somalians and illegals received more benefits than that. It’s not enough. DO BETTER!
