LibKey.io is a service sponsored by libraries to help researchers access content and avoid unnecessary paywalls. Mention me in a tweet with the “optout” keyword if you prefer not enhancing your DOI links with LibKey

City of London police's Intellectual Property Crime Unit says using pirate sites to access articles could "pose a threat" bbc.com/news/education-56462… Try access from your library instead, add libkey.io/ in front of any DOI!

We were waiting a long time for this too, so we decided to work with libraries to build it!

Adding libkey.io in front of a DOI before you tweet it means your colleagues will be able to access the full text article, rather than hitting a paywall

The DOI is the standard way of linking to article webpages. LibKey.io advances scholarly communication by connecting millions of researchers to the full text article licensed by libraries on their behalf.
