! @Coral Welsh Grand National Update ! 2.30pm inspection passed. Further precautionary inspection 8am tomorrow. No frost in ground. No snow so far. Entire course covered. Temperatures hovering around zero overnight. Up to +3C tomorrow. Keep those fingers crossed everyone!

Racing on Saturday 2nd January has been ABANDONED. The track is currently frozen in places and on the basis of the forecast there is no chance of track improvement.

2:30 inspection passed, track is raceable and Going is Heavy for Heming Group Raceday on Saturday 2nd January. Based on current forecast there will be a Precautionary Inspection at 1pm on New Year's Day, vulnerable areas being fleeced.

There will be a precautionary inspection at 7.45am tomorrow for the @coral Welsh Grand National meeting - this is due to the forecast of heavy overnight rain of between 15mm and 20mm.
