What a profound deep thinker Eva Meijer is Eva’s book, for all the ecological devastation, there is some hope in it too And that’s something Eva had to discover in their own life… Find out why on @rippling_pages 👇 podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcas…

So good.
Finished. 🖤 Well this was excellent. Inventive form. Multi-perspectival. And a story that consistently escapes the territory it establishes, surprising the reader at each new turn. Fantastic. Read it in a single sitting if you can.

This publishes tomorrow from Fitzcarraldo I love the way Makenna plays with the idea and images of structures- there’s a really neat riff on the idea of an ego as a kind of structure and container. It’s so smart.

Spent Christmas and New Year in Holbox Island and then Mexico City In genuine awe at Mexico. Finished in Coyoacán, the neighbourhood famous for Frida Kahlo Stood on a church where Cortés tried to build - apparently Toltec remains found there in 600-650CE Spooky energy!
