A lot of people assume Vector Search by itself is all you need to get great search results to power applications like Enterprise ChatGPT, but this blog helps understand aspects everyone should think about when choosing the correct approach.
We're seeing lots of generative AI apps that use retrieval-augmented generation: an LLM for reasoning and a vector database for knowledge. Better ranking means better facts fed to the LLM, here's how Azure Cognitive Search can help with that:
