A brilliant article about @SDEibar by @siilviasmc - delighted to be able to count on her expert analysis at @SegundaSpanish. Check it out, you won't be disappointed! (and it won't cost you anything to do so on our Patreon, we promise 🙂)
Something incredible is happening in Segunda this season!
A club from a town of 27,000 are top having won seven matches in a row!
This week @siilviasmc looks into how SD Eibar have managed to achieve this and if they can sustain it!
You can read the feature below!
Unbelievable stuff! UTFR ❤️

Thanks to everyone who watched yesterday’s Grounds Quest video.
Question for the football travellers/groundhoppers:
How many Spanish grounds have you actually been to?
LaLiga, Segunda, 1RFEF, half-remembered matchdays - they all count.
Log them at groundsquest.app.
I’ve been building a football side project called Grounds Quest.
It starts with Spain: 82 teams, matchdays to log and trips to plan.
If you’re into football travel, groundhopping or Spanish football, I’d really appreciate a follow over at @groundsquest.

Play off semi final
@CDCastellon vs @U_D_Almeria
Just a 2 point gap between the teams but two very different stories to get them there
A story that involves @Cristiano Ronaldo, @LUFC & a Canadian gambler
In this thread we take a quick look at their recent stories 🧵⬇️
One of the happiest moments of my footballing life, as @AvroFC clinch a historic promotion, and one which I can play and replay for the rest of my days! Thanks to @ClubberFootball, @CharlieOB2004 and of course @kyle_hawley9 for making that possible 🙂
As always, an absolute pleasure to interview Grant - very rarely find myself disagreeing with anything he says!
🗣️ Hear from @Grantshenton4 as he provided his thoughts on our 1-1 draw with Bury this afternoon. The full interview is available below ⤵️
Well aware that many people on here have no more bandwith for relatively niche football, but if you're looking for a new league to follow, I am confident that you will be even more up for making it this one after the next 40 days!
𝟰𝟬 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗢... ⏰📅
From tomorrow, there will only be 40 days until the KO of the new @Primera_RFEF season! 🙌🏻
We're doing an A-Z on all the teams in next season's competition, from Alcorcón to Zamora, to bring you everything you need to know about them! 😃
This guy is amazing: he's Portuguese and yet has written books in both Spanish and English as well as his native language. His latest one is called 'Pasión: a journey to the soul of Spanish football' and is an absolutely brilliant read for anyone who loves Spain and football!
A typically tight and tense play off semi final in Madrid was massively enhanced for me by the presence of @Miguel_LPereira, who I recently interviewed for @SegundaSpanish about his new book, 'Pasión'. If you love Spain and Spanish football, it's an absolutely fantastic read!

We are officially out.
Thanks for having followed all the threads and info regarding the book, and stay tuned for much more, but meanwhile, you can now grab your copy at your local bookstore or online platforms. It will be a literary and footballing journey you'll never forget.
⚽ 📚 Out today! ⚽ 📚
🇪🇸 Pasión journeys into the heart and soul of #Spanishfootball, examining the rich diversity of Spain's footballing culture and how the game unites the nation. Take a road trip through space and time with this immersive book 👇

According to sources, the sale of @Merida_AD will be announced as early as tomorrow!
The takeover news could give them a huge push in their hunt for a return to the second tier! 🙌🏻

This hasn't gone to plan at all for @recreoficial - bad start to the weekend for the boys from Huelva leaving the chasing pack with an opportunity 🙏🏻

Not that we're biased but I hope @recreoficial give those young lads at Sevilla Atlético a good hiding tonight!
Give them hell @RaulNavas22 💪🏻

Such a pleasure to interview Bambo Diaby earlier this week for @SegundaSpanish. The focus of course was his experiences in @LaLiga2 since his arrival at @elchecf last summer, but he also had plenty to say about what came before that. Check it out here:

The first time I have ever made it to three figures, think I might struggle to beat it in '25 but I'm certainly up for trying. Loads of great experiences along the way - here's to plenty more in the next 12 months.
Week in, week out this group of players go out and give absolutely everything for the cause, often against sides with far greater resources. They are an absolute credit to the club - come and see for yourselves this evening, I would be very surprised if you leave disappointed!
Always a pleasure to be able to talk unadulterated Real Zaragoza on occasions such as this one, thanks for giving me the opportunity to do so, lads!
