in post-soviet countries undercover cops only ever come in one very specific type of guy, once you saw it you will be able to spot them instantly. They also all move and talk in a very specific way and emit heavy unpleasant aura wherever they go
Dear Prime Minister Ambani, please don’t
Dear Prime Minister Ambani,
Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.
Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?
There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.
Thank you 🙏

There was a watershed video about this guy last year, by the YouTube channel “Darkives.”
Around the 77th floor of the North Tower, there were mechanical floors that lacked windows.
If the South Tower hadn’t fallen when it did—knocking him down—he could have made it to the windowless floors, dropped in, and made a run for it down the stairways.
He could have been the only person to survive above the impact zone in the North Tower. The only one who lived to tell the tale.
The video also sought to uncover his identity, and made the best guess that anyone’s ever made.
The video determined that it was likely Frank Bennett Reisman, a finance worker who was also a hobbyist rock climber: he was using a very advanced rock climbing technique called the “chimney climb.”

One of the saddest 9/11 stories I've read about.
A man on the West Side of the North Tower tried to climb down the side of the building using a technique known as a ''chimney climb.''
He managed to scale down 9 floors over the course of 30-40 minutes. He went down from the 94th floor to the 85th floor but was knocked off when the South Tower collapsed.
Indomitable human spirit. I wish we knew his name.
