For those who have been pulled up by the roots and told to grow. ❤️
The Missing Moved In: A Grief Journey a.co/d/0rfnHZp
One of my favorite things about my mom is she keeps everything. Not in a hoarder way, but if it’s not completely tattered and broken, she will continue to use it. This includes bedding, towels, dishes, etc.
Still seeing my little brother’s 38yo dinosaur sheets is a joy.
I drove by the hospital my dad died in today.
The Missing grew so large it muted all sound. All I heard was its plaintive song,
“If only if only if only.”

No shade to Emily Dickinson, but I love this poem about hope by Caitlin Seida.
I relate to hope being gritty, ugly, and persistent!
Hope Is Not a Bird, Emily, It’s a Sewer Rat by Caitlin Seida 👇
I just finished listening to @BethMooreLPM’s memoir and uh oh I love her even more now. As one who is in a season where I am desperate for good pastoring, I thank you Mama Beth. ❤️
I get to be a “special guest” for a book club tomorrow… I’m really excited.

I braved the Father’s Day card section today for the fathers who are still in my life.
I apologize to my husband in advance for the especially dumb card I settled on for him because I just had to get out of there.

I sold 6 books this week! That’s double from last week!

My son turned 13 today.
I have no idea how to parent a teenager, but my teen teared up when we gave him a speed (rubik’s) cube, so that makes me think we are off to a pretty good start.
Theatre bug bitten 9yo is constantly singing “hard knock life.”
This is starting to feel passive aggressive.
I watched the #Hillsong Doc last weekend, and #ShinyHappyPeople this weekend.
On a completely related note, I see my therapist on Wednesday.

“The reason I have come to love this book so much is because Jeff Crosby has given me language for feelings that I carry with me everywhere I go but have struggled to name. And I promise it will do the same for you.”—@SuzanneStabile

Something I’ve learned about my theological self this year, is I have a ferocious belief in the open table.
