FT: GET INNNN! That is a helluva performance from the Reds! Got two early goals & then displayed a level of discipline & quality that shows they’re really staring to gel together & trust each other. That was really satisfying to watch. Chelsea midweek in the League Cup. #LFC

HT: Well then, really solid 45 from the Reds sees us up 2-0 at the break. Just about good enough defensively & countless good attacks from the front 3 & we’re looking good. The pace has been frenetic but we’ll take more of the same 2nd 45. #LFC #LIVBHA #YNWA

Araujo finds himself in acres of space down the right, dribbles in and fires on goal. Saved but excellent work. #LFC #LIVBHA #YNWA

Cody does some excellent work gathering up a deflected ball, carries forward but his shot ends up in row Z. Can’t fault the work rate there. #LFC #LIVBHA #YNWA

Alright, we seemed to have dodged the “Ali moment of madness” in the match, unscathed. 😂🤣 #LFC #LIVBHA #YNWA

All hands to the pump for the LFC defense; face blocks, slide tackles, desperate yet effective. #LFC #LIVBHA #YNWA

Bradley Barcola is more than a handful and his hard work down the right & cross finds Isak & he scores with a lovely touch. Get in! LIV 2-0 BHA #LFC #LIVBHA #YNWA

Get in! It’s Wirtz with a deflected shot that finds the back of the goal. Excellent work from Araujo for the assist. Probably an OG on review. LIV 1-0 BRI #LFC #LIVBRI #YNWA

Do yourself a favor and give this a watch. Best 5 minutes you’ll spend today. #YNWA

TGIFooty! The Mighty Reds are back in action Sun morning, KO at 7:00a vs Brighton. Another surprise team, solid start, above us in the table. Going to take a massive effort to get all 3 points. We’ll be at @DoylesPub & The Westy/Roosevelt for all the action. #LFC #LIVBRI #YNWA

FT: And breathe! Wow, the Reds put us through the wringer, don’t they. Down 0-2 at home, come back and then some to 4-2, give them hope with a 3rd, then see it out. Champions League!?! Am I right?!?! We’ll definitely take it. On to Sunday vs Brighton. #LFC #UCL #LIVVIL #YNWA

Liverpool always happy to give their opponents belief. Maybe the most dangerous mindset in football. Villarreal score and have their tails up. Liverpool on their back foot. Going to be a dodgy last 5 or so. LIV 4-3 VIL #LFC #UCL #LIVVIL #YNWA

GET INNNNN! And it’s Wirtz! Lovely left footed finish through traffic. Great stuff that! LIV 4-2 VIL #LFC #UCL #LIVVIL #YNWA

Macca has a brace! And that is some amazing work from Rio. He made that goal happen. LIV 3-2 VIL #LFC #UCL #LIVVIL #YNWA

HT: It was the best of halves, it was the worst of halves. Defensively fragile, decent enough in midfield & threatening going forward. Rio is a handful, Trey belies his years & Virgil starting to show signs of…what, age? slowing? At any rate, all to play for next 45. #LFC #YNWA

GET INNNNNN! What great timing! And what a great job by Rio to keep it alive and then Araujo to be there on the back post to nod home. Excellent end to the half. LIV 2-2 VIL #LFC #UCL #LIVVIL #YNWA

One before halftime would calm the nerves. #LFC #UCL #LIVVIL #YNWA

Get innnn! Macca with a lovely cushioned header off the corner. LIV 1-2 VIL #LFC #UCL #LIVVIL #YNWA

And just like that, the defense is split wide open. Araujo going walk about. Terrible stuff. LIV 0-2 VIL #LFC #UCL #LIVVIL #YNWA

Rio is giving them fits right now. #LFC #UCL #LIVVIL #YNWA
