The problem with most #LFC "fans" on twitter is they haven't lived through 30 years of hurt, not seeing their team win the league for so long after winning it almost every year. That pain gives you character. It makes you appreciate your team and fellow fans who know that #YNWA.

Embarrassing defeat to Fenerbahce tonight. We were so much better than them all over the pitch. How the hell did they score 3 goals? I’ve never understood why you wouldn’t start with your full team and then sub off to rest people once you’re winning. Why start weak? #LFC #YNWA

If Mac scores that header and we get the penalty on Isak it's 2-1 to us. Fine margins. Give it time. We'll be fine. #LFC #YNWA

Frustrating. Should have taken our chances but Arsenal just dive and roll around and the ref gave them so many soft free kicks. Definitely seeing the beginning of something but not quite clicking yet. Arsenal have had a few years of playing together we just need time. #LFC #YNWA

Not much between the teams tonight. Stupid hack by Grav to give away a penalty and his kick in the shootout was shit too. The penalties were top quality until Tsimikas - why did he take the 5th one instead of Barcola? Strange decision but luckily we got away with it. #LFC #YNWA

Harry Kane. Worthy winner of the ballon d'or. 73 goals last season for club & country! Fantastic role model for kids. Had to work hard, overcame nasty injuries and never gave up. Married his childhood sweetheart. A family man and by all accounts a thoroughly nice chap. Well done.

Great win today against an excellent and in-form Brighton team, plus always good to see the Scum getting smashed. Long may it continue. #LFC #YNWA

So many injuries at the moment and a second string against Villarreal but plenty of goals in the team and we look much better than last season. Lapse of concentration from VVD but after being legendary for us for years he’s allowed one or two mistakes I reckon. #LFC #YNWA

Football is hard to love right now. You wait 3 weeks for it to return, only to watch your side succumb due to a combination of injuries sustained on international duty, an inept refereeing performance and ultimately lose against a team that shouldn’t even be allowed to play.

Might be a Kevin Keegan moment (God rest his soul) but I will love seeing these City players have the smug grins wiped off their faces when they’re kicked out of the league in disgrace and all of their “victories” deleted. Their fans are acting like they’re the victims. Fuck off.

This is what happens when you put a Manchester ref in charge of the game. One who’s been paid for going to the Middle East to referee. One whose brother is a Man City season ticket holder. The refs need to be kicked out along with City.
Pundits reactions to Ryan Gravenberch's red card against Man City #LFC Peter Schmeichel : “He knows he's got a yellow card and to give him a second yellow for that? I think that's really wrong, and that's a refereeing mistake.” Freddie Ljungberg : “I think it's very harsh. Definitely it's a free kick, but that does not have to be a second yellow in this fixture.” Jamie Carragher: “It's barely a foul. It's a shocking decision.” Gary Neville: “It was very soft.” Micah Richards: “That is soft. How is that a yellow card? I don't understand.” Roy Keane: “I don't see how he can get a yellow card for that.” Daniel Sturridge: “It’s never been a yellow. The first one is a joke.”

How long is the stench of the “sham” going to corrode the meaning, worth, and very essence of the Premier League? Listening to commentary about Manchester City’s players matching the defiance of their ownership and triumphing in adversity. Listening to fans chorusing the names of the men running the club, wearing masks or displaying banners of their faces and jibing: “We’re Man City, we’ll cheat when we want.” Victory being framed as “a lovely moment,” a show of togetherness as though some grave injustice has been imposed on City, rather than their hierarchy being found by an independent commission to have orchestrated financial doping on an industrial scale. Their opponents and the rest of us wondering if any of this actually matters now and how much of it ever did? There can be no business as usual pretence. We need a full stop to the absurdity.

With Szobo, Cody and Isak we would have won that game. A referee from Manchester giving City dodgy decisions? Who would have thought it. These refs who have been supporting these cheats for years need to be kicked out of the league along with them. #LFC #YNWA

City shouldn’t be allowed to play in this league. How do you think they can bring so many world class players off the bench? Their results shouldn’t even count. Send them down. Strip them of everything. Owners, managers and players in the jail. They’re all in on it. #LFC #YNWA

👏🔴 Ex-Liverpool goalkeeping coach John Achterberg pulled no punches on Man City's guilty verdict. He told The Athletic: "We were sat there thinking: ‘How can City spend so much?'. "I remember we played them at Wembley and there was a big banner covering thousands of seats as they couldn’t sell out their allocation. "Their fanbase is nowhere near as big as Liverpool’s, but their commercial revenues were higher. It made no sense." Full story 🔗 thisisanfield.com/2026/10/ex…

Unfortunately it's us against City and the ref.
It’s the ENTIRE world against Man City on Sunday, right?

If Liverpool had turned around and refused to fulfill the fixture against these cheating fucks this weekend, I'd have been fully behind it. The league has lost all credibility whilst their owners are still there. They have to fuck off and never come back.
