Till today, you can’t use most Nigerian bank cards to make international purchases!!! You can’t pay for TEMU or Apple Pay if you don’t have certain bank cards, or virtual cards that charge you like a third party would, why??? HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN WHY???? All these happened in 2020 because they didn’t want Nigerians in diaspora helping the Endsars movement!!! A movement that was aimed at stopping lawful officers from harming citizens!!! 6 years later, you still can’t use your bank card to make foreign transactions, you have to use “certain” banks, and you think this is normal???? And you’re not angry??? PayPal and the likes of it are not functional in Nigeria!! You have to find people in diaspora to route foreign payments and lose a large chunk of money in the process. A business you created for yourself by the way; fund and run unsubsidized by the government, AND will be taxed once it hits your account. And you’re telling me not to make enemies of the people “because they have a different political view”??? The people who turned off the lights at the tollgate??? The people who shot at innocent protesters?? The people who shut down twitter??? The people who restricted international banking transactions???? Omo! Thunder faya you and yours! Gtfoh!

The problem is not that politicians have become too powerful. It is that citizens have been conditioned to believe that challenging their power is somehow disrespectful.

The dark side of Nigeria's politics is that if Tinubu loses the election, 98% of the politicians in Nigeria today, especially those in the APC, will find a way to decamp to the ruling party and say they knew Tinubu was a failure. They defended Buhari till his last day in office but later agreed he was a failure. They will say the same thing to this one too. It is a matter of time.

Again, there’s no way everybody will be attacking a candidate who came third in the last election. No way. One day, you people will actually tell us what happened in 2023.

Why exactly are you appealing to them sir? Does it imply that they are complicit in influencing outcomes of elections, by installing puppets that'd dontheir bidding?
ENGAGEMENT WITH THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION: DEFENDING DEMOCRACY AND THE RIGHTS OF NIGERIANS Following my meeting with the British High Commissioner yesterday, 5th November 2026, I met with all Ambassadors of the European Union countries in Abuja on the same day. Our discussions centred on a number of issues, especially the cost of living and welfare of Nigerians, the state of governance in our country, and the forthcoming elections. I reiterated my appeal to the international community to support the democratic right of Nigerians to freely and fairly choose their leaders in a peaceful environment. The international community should stand with the Nigerian people in defending this fundamental right. The very essence of democracy is respect for the right of citizens to freely make their choices and determine who governs them. I thank the European Union Commission for the invitation and the opïportunity for this important engagement. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Not long ago, we saw the news of a couple being unalived cos they dared to show affection for one another in a mosque. And then there was the case of the Sri Lankan guy too. What are y'all on about? They don't give a damn about your wokeness. They're counting on your naivety!
