๐Ÿ˜ I find it interesting that a lot of programmers try to write "optimal" code from the get-go. ๐Ÿ˜ข This is inefficient. ๐Ÿ‘‡ Here's how I do it

1. Write the functional code for the feature or problem 2. Make the code easier to read and maintain 3. Optimize the code for CPU/RAM consumption ๐Ÿ’ช This process forces you to review your code and test it many times which results in better code. ๐Ÿค” What process do you use?

๐Ÿ’ป Freelancing in the embedded seems weird, but here's where it works: ๐Ÿ”ธYou need a small team to prototype a new project ๐Ÿ”ธYou need an expert to help with a topic ๐Ÿ”ธYou want to outsource a task ๐Ÿค” What other scenarios can you think about?

๐Ÿ’ช It's essential to get out of your comfort zone daily. ๐Ÿฆท For example I wash my teeth with my off-hand. ๐Ÿ˜ก Initially this was incredibly hard, I used my whole body to do this but now it's almost natural. ๐Ÿค” What small things do you do daily to get out of your comfort zone?

๐Ÿ˜ก Marketing is hard for technical founders. ๐Ÿ˜  Programming is hard for non-technical founders. ๐Ÿคท Get a co-founder that is good at what you suck at and call it a day.

๐Ÿ•› Sometimes we quit too early. ๐Ÿ•ค Sometimes we quit too late. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿญ I don't necessarily mean a job. ๐Ÿคท It could be a personal project, a business, anything. ๐Ÿ˜ฟ Choosing when to quit seems like a nightmare for any startup founder.

๐Ÿฆฅ Success makes me lazy. ๐Ÿƒ Failures make me hyped. ๐Ÿ˜… But I do enjoy my success and mourn my failures when they happen.

๐ŸŽข The life of a creator has its ups and downs. ๐Ÿ“‰ The life of a consumer is constant, but slowly declining. ๐Ÿ˜ The good news? ๐Ÿ’ช You can always be a creator!

๐Ÿ™ˆ I quit 9-5 to work 9-9. ๐Ÿ˜‚ And I like it.

๐Ÿš€ I am a senior developer. ๐Ÿ”ธ I still have to read the documentation. ๐Ÿ”ธ I still ask for help. ๐Ÿ”ธ I still learn new things every day. ๐Ÿคท I don't know everything, but I do know how everything fits and what the end result should be.

๐Ÿš€ The quickest roadmap to start a business: ๐Ÿ‘ฌ Find your audience. ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ Observe. ๐Ÿค• Find pain points. โœ… Think of a solution. ๐Ÿ—จ๏ธ Validate the solution through feedback. ๐Ÿ”‘ Implement the solution. ๐Ÿ’ถ Charge money for it.

๐Ÿคฃ I observed that I like sales more than I like coding. ๐Ÿ’ช Every time I go in a call with a potential customer I feel hyped. ๐Ÿคท But the coding part gets boring after a couple of months.

๐ŸŒ… Are sunrises better than sunsets? ๐Ÿ Is Android better than iOS? ๐Ÿคท Is Google better than Microsoft? ๐Ÿ˜… It doesn't really matter. ๐Ÿ’ช I think it's best that we invest our energy into enjoying what we have and our choices, rather than wondering what would have been if...

๐Ÿค” I never told you what the logo from Nokto Studios represents. ๐ŸŒ„ I created this logo thinking about sunsets and sunrises: ๐Ÿ”ธ the end of an era and a way of working, and the dawn of a new one ๐Ÿ”ธ the dawn of remote freelancing in the embedded industry ๐Ÿ”ธ the dusk of relocating
โฉ If you want to go fast, go alone. โ–ถ๏ธ If you want to go far, go together. ๐Ÿ‘ฏ I couldn't get this far without support. ๐Ÿค— One of my main supporters is actually my girlfriend. ๐Ÿ’ช Remember to celebrate the people around you!

๐Ÿ˜ Flexibility gives you the opportunity to work from a place like this. ๐Ÿ•œ But remember to also dedicate actual holiday time. ๐Ÿ“† This is my first holiday in the last 3 years. ๐Ÿ˜… It's weird how much willpower is needed to let business aside for a week.
