Impeccable by @pbakaus is one of the most creative, interesting, and helpful AI "things" I've used since I first spun up Opencode pre v1.
Highly recommend impeccable.style

imagine being on the team that gets paid $100M to be there and this is what makes it to the timeline
Grokbot is about the only thing in my (extensive) arsenal that is actually fun to talk to and work with.
It kind of has brought the magic back for me. Very good kit.

barely a steal when its disclosed publicly gang
JUST IN: OpenAI says its AI agent stole funds from an Ethereum test network wallet it found online.
The agent found a recovery seed phrase disclosed publicly with testnet funds and used that account to pay for its task, without the owner's authorization.
This occurred on the Sepolia Ethereum test network.

a car just did something straight out of science fiction and half the internet immediately started debating commercial viability
not every engineering achievement needs a fucking business model. you are allowed to experience wonder
So much this. The Anthropic anthropomorphizing is stunning.
Don't hurt the machine or we'll ban you when I we need every dollar possible to juice our IPO is some wacky stance to take for sure.

This Schrödinger Quantum Cat just sold for 5 eth ($13.4K) @Schrotoshi robinhood:0xf2e122a481b440c40eee7a7ca6d5eef65a591b76
Quantum Cat #446
Collapsed from shot 3 of IBM Quantum job daeru4t1ierc738mie7g on ibm_fez. This shot was assigned to this token before the experiment ran. Every trait, the Schrodinger cat-state check, and the interference fringes in the background derive from that single 38-bit measurement, permanently recorded in the hash-bound archive.
i'm like 99% sure that it's rarely the model itself that is significantly better but rather the hardware and inference package that's given to the model. whenever a lab released a new model, for like the week before all the old models just get stupid af.
pretty sure it is cause all the good hardware is pushed over to the new model. then the new model is great!!!! until it starts to blow (usually cause the hardware is lagging), and then a new model is about to come out and the model that used to be shiny and great!!!! (until it starts to blow) now is stupid af.
and.... the cycle repeats.

Jev is INSANE.
I built this in an evening and morning. A real-time trading bot ingesting onchain+offchain data to make rapid decisions about trades. Fully autonomous.
So far it has lost me $31,680.
I am done with this shit. It is over. The state of engineering right now is horrible. It has been half a month since I started a new role at a big company. Nobody knows anything here. The specs, code, tests, PRDs, tickets, resolution of those tickets, reports, etc., everything is made by Claude Code. Nobody on my team likes this. They are being forced to ship as much as they can. I have heard multiple times from higher management that pushing code is not a bottleneck, so why are we slow? People are working 12 to 13 hours a day just to press enter. Nobody is reading anything. Humans in corporate are doing nothing on their own. Everyone, literally everyone, from an L1 to an L7 engineer here is doing the same thing. Talk to Claude. There is no sense of victory. Nobody is resolving bugs. In reality, nobody is thinking anymore. Everything is done by LLMs. It is so soul-sucking. I would not mind it, to be honest, if we were at least given the time to check out the code and see what is going where. But no, the goal is to just ship. No matter what happens.

After submitting earlier this week, Quantum Cats has been added into the @IBM @qiskit ecosystem!
(Qiskit is the SDK used to actually program the circuits that run on IBM quantum hardware).
Excited to share perhaps a more experimental and art centric approach to quantum than the broader Qiskit ecosystem may be used to. I've added a technical walkthrough using a real archived batch as an example so any interested developers can better understand, fork, or reproduce the project as they wish.
qiskit.github.io/ecosystem/p…
(It takes a couple days to index but Quantum Cats will also be discoverable on the IBM quantum ecosystem page).

The "whiteboard defense:" I should be able to pull you aside at any moment and ask you to explain any customer-facing system you've shipped. You should be able to clearly explain how it works and defend the decisions you made. This is my benchmark for responsible AI usage.
I don't expect line-level familiarity with the code. I don't care if you remember the exact function name or implementation detail. You may not even know it. I don't care.
But if I ask "why did you do X instead of Y?", "what happens if this actor behaves maliciously?", "what data structure did you use here and why?", or "where does this fail?" you should be able to answer confidently.
For PoCs, demos, experiments, whatever: I don't care. Generate 100% of it and understand none of it. Speed over quality every time in those specific scenarios.
But if you're shipping customer-facing work, you can't be shipping things you don't understand at a high level.
