Hyperlight, a library for micro VMs, has just been open-sourced: github.com/hyperlight-dev…
I worked with getting .NET to run on wasm inside this a while back. It’s still bleeding edge, but with work you can start up lightweight hardware-isolated tasks incredibly fast.

Have you wondered what's with the chatter around #webassembly exceptions support? The following code runs 1.75x faster with Wasm Exceptions rather than its previous Javascript based equivalent. This removes a javascript transition and three frames. @dotnet 7 is going to be fast!

It’s technically possible to compile ASP.NET Core *Server* to WebAssembly and run it inside your browser.
You absolutely shouldn’t - it’s the worst possible way to deliver a server-rendered app - but it does actually work!
