1. Started playing in non-competitive territory (read: new corridors), it was hard but paid off; built from scratch new destinations & got to market leadership there, @leverageedu now not just a winner but the only platform operating 360-degree across a bunch of new options 2. Massive AI-fication of business. For universities and agent partners last year. Now doing it for 2C customers, hospital partners et al @leveragecareers ++ the most exciting stuff is what we are building in-house for our teams @leverageedu to do better. AI analysis after every single counselling available to our Coaches now, like a Partner that makes you do better, every day and every moment. Lot lot lot to do here. 3. Brand caught up. Referrals caught up. Many years of work here. CACs saw decline. But we still prominent only in a few markets, 95% still fragmented and local peers do a better job. 4. Attachment rates of financial services and housing and insurance and other ancillary services went up, > leading to much better LTV on the same cost base, while also improving NPS. More productisation to do here. Not even halfway there. The past 6 months / this FY, have seen us: - focus 10x more on tech, LE-AI (our AI suite) starting to come into its own, right now interacting with P&L row by row; Vasu & Anna, agents at @leverageedu & @leveragecareers, are senior members of the exec team - focus 100x more on customer experience; building new categories, new destinations / corridors in our case, is very hard, as a marketplace, with Universities, Housing Providers, Banks, and even Sovereign Bodies on the other sides, negotiating with them, learning how they work across thousand of nuances, hard but once you do it >> big moat - efficiency on marketing; come to our HQ and you will see 100s of ad creatives x copies splattered all over, we experiment SO MUCH, mad effort here, that CPQL >>> is v imp to us; when we made significant wins, we pass a lot back to the customer - deep meaningful enterprise relationships, hard-won trust, now we are launching / co-creating programs of tomorrow with Universities around the world - get much better on our cash cycles, creating delight here is very important to us, the path to improving FCF will help - people; we are going through a period where we double down on folks that have given @leverageedu everything, have hard conversations with others where necessary, & also bring to the floor new senior talent that knows a bunch of stuff better than all of us - experimenting with some new GTMs, some new TAMs, early days but it’s keeping the nights busy! Right at the starting line. ONLY BEGUN.

Leverage Edu welcomed 100 more Leveragians to Ownership last week 💰 🪎 That, takes it to 23% of our company building this on-steroids rocketship as OWNERS! And it ain’t random paper before you dismiss it like that, @leverageedu has already done 2 ESOP buyback events, & is in the middle of doing the 3rd one in next few weeks to come (yea! 💯) Huge thank you again, to dear friend / elder brother / early LE investor, @warikoo, for making this SO SPECIAL FOR US 🙏🏼👊🏽 … I din realise even I needed to be in your audience and it’d been long, always so damn energising! Building and growing fast while every headwind that can hit you, actually does, is not a mean feat but this team did it. Being category-creators, which means you are building ahead of systems built by sovereign nations themselves, is brutal hard, because our customers are dealing with their lives here. Growing yourself, investing in others while all this cyclone presides through, tests the best of the best. And that, are Leveragians! With this, we also embark on what is going to be the hardest leg of our journey so far. These next 12-15-18 months. Like always, it was important to explicitly call out that “Leverage Edu isn’t for everyone” .. don’t expect balance here, don’t expect only praises showered & mistakes not pointed out here, don’t for ever a moment confuse anything above ethics and customer obsession .. all of that, with a shimmer of hope that one day it will all make sense, with the occasional delightful gestures by customers whose lives we are able to change ♥️✌🏼 All I’d say now is .. What is @leverageedu? What does it do? This week, we revised that one liner again, for what LE is, in its 6.0 version: “an AI-native global talent mobility & upskilling platform” .. across 40 countries, in its 10th year now. With it, this week also concluded a multi-month soul-search process onto what have we become and what we do want to turn into up next. The 3 core pillars were solidified. The 6 parallel tracks were set, including ‘Super High Corporate Governance’, ‘Organic Reputation’, ofc ‘fully AI-native’, and more. The “how” of what we will do, bets taken in different units was hardcoded, including within platform plays @flydothomes and @flydotfinance. How our Leverage Edu student mobility will continue on the diversity-widening charter. Why our @leveragecareers approach will be different from how anyone else looking at this space. Where does our India-to-India democratising education mission align with the Co. So on. But Leverage Edu didn’t get here in a day. It’s been over 9 years. My youthful chutzpah and hustle have a strong overhang of my salt-and-pepper battle-scars’ wisdom now, ha! It’s been a while .. Leverage Edu 1.0: Nov’14, AI-first Career Advice Matchmaking App (*for whatever ML magic that AI meant then, but the intent was clear to build on back of latest in tech, tech-first) LE 2.0: at launch Apr’17, Marketplace for Ivy-League aspirants & Mentor Alumni LE 3.0: June’19, introducing Universities as a stakeholder & going “massy” not just Ivy-League, later launching software “UniConnect” LE 4.0: Jan’21 onward, evolution into a Platform, first Fly Finance, then Fly Homes, later these led to Leverage One becoming a hero product by ‘24-25 LE 5.0: starting Winter ‘24, evolution into “being Global”, launched across 25 source markets and 15 destinations since And now, Leverage Edu 6.0, an organic evolution into being completely AI-native, and being there for young people in emerging markets across all talent mobility & the upskilling it takes to level up.
