Great few days away at Spurn this time last weekend with @kev07713 @karenheath62 @hobbylovinglife @worlebirder - my first time there. Great birding and picked up eight lifers and over 100 species. Loved finishing each day watching owls.

There were apparently TWO Dusky Warblers in Blakeney Point plantation yesterday, but they are notorious skulkers and I found it more than troublesome enough to glimpse one!

My absence on here was due to caring for my Dad while he was ill, and sadly he passed away last Thursday with his Sons/Daughters & Wife by his bedside at home. So nothing better than some beautiful Whopper & Mute #Swans to say farewell. #SwanDay #Swantastic #NatureTherapy #birds – at Euxton, England
