🔟 A development for the #Dart language: we can now use a digit separator (_) to make long numbers more readable. For example, 1_000_000 is much easier to read than 1000000, right?

8️⃣ Developing with a monorepo is now much easier with pub workspaces. (A shared pubspec structure is a feature we’ve longed for) 9️⃣ On devices running #Android 15 and above, apps will by default run in full-screen edge-to-edge mode.

6️⃣ #Swift Package Manager support is now stable and available. Many popular plugins have migrated to it. (In the future, plugins’ pub.dev scores will be linked to SPM support) 7️⃣ Numerous updates have been made to improve compatibility with Cupertino widgets.

5️⃣ The interface of one of our biggest debugging helpers, Widget Inspector, has been updated. (Don’t forget to enable the “New Inspector” option, I hope you’ll like the new developer-friendly interface)

3️⃣ No more manually adding space between Row and Column widget elements: the “spacing” solution simplifies this. 4️⃣ In new iOS projects created with Flutter, Objective-C can no longer be chosen; only Swift will be available. (No changes for Android)

1️⃣ Impeller is now the default rendering engine on Android as well. 2️⃣ There are some changes regarding color usage. The most noticeable change is the deprecation of the “.withOpacity” method (welcome “.withValues”).

Before sharing some of the features introduced in these versions, I would like to mention that I personally consider #Flutter 3.27 the most impressive release in the past few years👌 Now, as a mobile developer, I would like to share the top ten features that caught my attention:

💙 A Quick Look at Flutter 3.27 👀 It has become a common routine for stable releases to be made before global #Flutter events hosted by Google. In this context, ahead of the “Flutter in Production” event on Dec 17, Flutter 3.27 and Dart 3.6.0 versions have just been released.
