what this means: PF is 12% of your basic pay, but it was calculated on a maximum of ₹15,000. so most people paid ₹1,800 a month, no matter how much they earned. now that cap is ₹25,000, so your PF can go up to ₹3,000 a month. that extra ₹1,200 comes out of your take-home.
