First of all, thank you for all the kind messages 🙏🏾🫶 I just wanted to share this as a few people have tried to position it negatively We didn't do this for recognition. We did it because one of the promises behind @OGTripleMedia was always to be community-first through actions, not words One of the catalysts for creating OGT was watching friends lose significant savings to a scam that also saw them mint a connected NFT for 0.1 ETH Millions lost because we didnt communicate our suspicions While this situation is much smaller in scale, it reminded me of that experience Over the past six weeks, the team and I have worked hard to build a treasury that gives us the ability to run initiatives, reward our community and support the growth of our ecosystem On this occasion, we felt extending a hand was a better use of some of those assets This wasn't a solution to the wider problem It was simply our contribution A small gesture to remind people that there are still good builders, good communities and good leaders in this space We talk a lot about onboarding in web3, but I believe we should spend just as much time thinking about retention Helping people stay is just as important as helping them arrive @OGTripleMedia & @DedGorgez is a safe space for anyone who shares our values, whether you're a holder or not We've now verified the majority of tickets from the #Yugen community and will begin sending assets over the next 12–24 hours 🫡
