Globally, more than 380 million tones of #plasticwaste is generated per year. In #Ghana, around 1.1 million tones of per year; 5% of which is collected for recycling. In #Accra, about 300 tones per day. The 1st step in reducing plastic waste is #segregation for #recycling.
