Replying to @MurrLincoln
@MurrLincoln and Base team put really impessive x402 growth metrics. But there's something weird about them I'm not sure all understand.
I'm a vivid x402 user, I look everyday for endpoints and apps that leverages x402. For example been using mallory.fun/ yesterday and it was pretty good!
So we see 2.2M in volume and think that jumping to x402 rails.. but most of volume (1.8M$), coming from two endpoints, let's study them
cool lecture about how Grok @bot is built.
I assume that we will see this type of architecture more now

בכזה קצב לא יהיו בחירות בצרפת.
literal hardest role to hire for rn and every ai startup wants someone
> chronically online (knows trends)
> has taste & can create (new media)
> understands ai & technical
> can execute with quality (operator)
such a small niche of folks who can do this
ive talked to many teams in the past few months who are thinking about this but dont know quite what to call it/have called it everything from brand marketing to comms to storytelling to special projects to content/social
4 high-profile startups in past ~2 weeks have explicitly told me they are stealthily looking to hire for someone in this sort of role
these roles are quietly and quickly exploding if your ear is to the ground!!
So cool reading @unclebobmartin saying that
Genocide is the intentional killing of non-combatant civilians in an attempt to reduce or eliminate the numbers of a particular race, nation, or ideology.
Hamas is genocidal, their charter demands the destruction of Israel. (They watered it down recently, but their intent is still clear)
October 7th was an act of Genocide since it was motivated by Hamas' chartered intention and was indiscriminate in the brutality and targeting of the killings. Hamas must be stopped.
Iran supplied weapons and training and financial support for Hamas, a clearly genocidal organization. Iran also regularly proclaims "Death to Israel. Death to America". Iran has genocidal intent. Iran, and its proxies, must be stopped.
Israel concluded that they must stop Hamas. Hamas hides behind civilians. This makes Hamas doubly genocidal since the more civilians that are killed the happier they seem to be.
Israel send leaflets, texts, phone calls to warn the population. They sent tons of food and supplies to support the population. They set aside refuges for the population. Genocidal nations don't do that.
Yes, a lot of Palestinians were killed in the fighting. Terrible. 20,000+ Germans were killed in the Dresden fire bombing. Awful. 100,000+ Japanese were killed in the Tokyo firebombing. ~210,000 Japanese will killed by the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
None of those actions were genocidal. The attackers had no genocidal intent. Their goal was to stop their enemies from further attacks.
There are "experts" for everything. The UN is full of "experts". But any "expert" that claims that Israel is committing a genocide is either horrifyingly ignorant or selling something evil.

Regarding this film.
1. “Naza” (נז״א) is Hebrew for collateral damage, or unintended civilian casualties. There would be no reason to assess, count or consider “Naza” if the intention weren’t to minimize or avoid it.
This is particularly difficult against an enemy like Hamas, for whom collateral damage means the same Palestinian civilian casualties Israel is trying to avoid.
2. Hamas doesn’t concern itself with assessing Israeli civilian casualties because civilians are among its intended targets. If they do count civilian casualties, it’s to measure success.
To avoid any misunderstanding, its terrorists filmed their atrocities and fire hundreds of indiscriminate rockets at Israel, where a third of the population are children.
3. The film quotes one intelligence officer claiming a strike was approved that could result in 500 deaths. Yet no such strike has ever been recorded or even claimed. To date, the deadliest day of this war remains October 7, 2023.
4. I don’t blame outsiders for their ignorance. Most of the liberal world has forgotten what it means to fight a war on the home front. Its wars are fought with secret commando missions, sterile air strikes and distant battles.
It is much easier to condemn the calculation that justifies an attack knowing innocent people may die when your own family isn’t under attack if you don’t make it.
5. The fact that a film like Naza can be made in Israel is itself a sign of a healthy democracy. Its writers and directors can accuse their own country and fellow citizens of grave wrongdoing and remain free to make their case.
One thing is guaranteed: we will never see a Palestinian film about Hamas’s atrocities on October 7, nor even an Arab one. Everyone knows why.
6. Freedom does not confer immunity from criticism and antipathy. The director and participants made the film intending to damage their country’s reputation.
They are entitled to make that choice. They are also expected to accept the opprobrium and consequences that come with it. Freedom to accuse does not mean freedom from being judged for the accusation.

"SBF, who spent much of his career maximizing expected value, was liquidated in 2022 by his own hand. Leopold Aschenbrenner, carrying on the work, was similarly liquidated in 2026. Now it is our turn to maximize EV. Perhaps it would be wise to approach the subject cautiously."

I guess that's why we see much of AI adoption in B2B
seeing people's theories on this is so interesting
almost all of them talk about some practical or technical problem
it's not that, the tech is already good enough. there is an incredible experience that can be had
whenever we think about building something in this direction we land on a few issues
- this is not a product consumers will pay for. which means it has to be a top of funnel product
- that means you need something that a lot of people see and will drop everything to try
- if you can manage this, you need to give them an amazing experience within 60 seconds
the issue is the magical experience to be had depends on you first connecting a bunch of things
and then running into a case where it saves your ass because it can pull off something uniquely incredible
this means of all the people who try your product, 99% will never get there. they will send a few messages, churn and forget it ever existed
until we come up with a way to address this it's pointless to even try. it's amusing seeing products every week launch not realizing they're doomed
also the elephant in the room is apple/google will just wait until the last possible moment and then do this. because of their positioning these issues are already solved
