I've been looking forward to this one: the Podia MCP is live!
Which is a boring way of saying you can now get things done in Podia by talking to ChatGPT or Claude:
- "Draft my next course based on this outline"
- "Find my most high-value customers and email them to see what they're currently struggling with most"
- "See who in the community hasn't registered for Friday's event yet and draft a 1:1 invite from me for each of them"
And lots, lots more.
A new way to work in Podia: just ask your AI 🤖
Connect ChatGPT or Claude to create products, draft emails, manage your community, and explore your sales.
Meet Podia MCP, available on every plan.

Slack never said "chat." Wiz never said "scanner." They said what the customer wanted to be true after buying.
Excellent positioning advice here: just say something people want.

Got some bad news and some good news today.
Bad: the claim on our website that @podia creators have earned more than $500M is stale.
Good: it's now more than $900M
Won't be sleeping through $1B

Architecture and museums: incredible
Lakefront: very good
Pizza: wtf is this
Easiest part of growing a decade-old brand is that people know you.
Hardest part: updating what they know.
As a parent, nothing prepares you for the absolute racket that is the youth sports industrial complex.
Something I've noticed: AI doesn’t like coming back empty-handed.
Ask any LLM to review something and it’ll come up with changes to justify being asked.
Sometimes the most valuable answer is just “looks good.”

Agents this, AI that... Refreshing to see companies like @podia go all-in on human connections.
There's a question we've been chewing on at @podia for the better part of a year: what happens to creator businesses when content becomes abundant? When AI can create unlimited amounts of it as well as any of us?
A lot of platforms look at all this and decide the answer is better AI tools for making content faster.
Maybe.
But we keep coming back to a different idea.
As AI makes content easier and easier to produce, the things it can't produce get more valuable.
The conversations.
The trust.
The act of showing up, week after week, for the people who keep showing up for you.
We think the creators who endure won't be the ones who automate all of that away. They'll be the ones who get to do more of it.
That's the thinking behind the new Podia, which launched today.
I hope you’ll give it a look: podia.com

🚨🚨Hiring Alert 🚨🚨
We are looking for a client-facing Sr. SEO/AEO Manager with deep B2B experience to turn best-in-class strategy into consistently excellent execution. In this role, you will be responsible for managing ~1M in annual billings, and guide both long term strategy and day-to-day execution for some of the best names in software, AI, venture capital, and professional services.
We are looking for someone who has years of experience in the B2B space, and is a proven account lead in an agency setting. The ideal candidate has a mastery of SEO, and is laser focused on learning what influences AI search so we can build out a repeatable playbook for AEO as the channel evolves.
The perfect candidate is also also a heavy user of AI and defaults to using AI when new challenges arise to build efficiencies into their workflows (if you are big on building skill files, we want to talk!).
If this sound like you - I want to chat asap.

My sister has pancreatic cancer. She’s fighting like hell but it’s… a lot.
She’s used up all her sick days with several days of treatments and procedures ahead.
The school she teaches at launched a fundraiser to help and I want to share it for reach.

We added AI to customer support. Nobody lost their job.
At @podia, we rolled out AI in customer support using @intercom's Fin. It now resolves 64% of our customer contacts.
When we were exploring platforms, @destraynor told me:
“If I could beg you for anything, it’d be just try Fin. Our trial-to-conversion rate is extremely high.”
He was right.
Our support team spent a good deal of time training Penny, Podia’s chatbot, to handle our most common customer requests.
Penny resolves these instantly, and our creators absolutely love her.
The “classic” playbook says that’s a reason to downsize. We’re taking a different approach, by using AI to give our team their time back.
Penny has afforded our expert support folks more time for the complex, high-context issues where human judgment matters most. And our customers are happier as a result.
Instant answers to the simple stuff, and better, more thoughtful help with the more complicated issues.
For us, AI isn’t about shrinking the team. It’s about making the team better at the work that actually needs humans.
Our customers get faster answers. Our team does more meaningful work.
Shoutout to the Intercom team for building a world-class tool, and continuing to make it better. Penny has been improving by about 1% every month!

Thinking about switching platforms? You’re not the only one.
Busy day for migration requests.
Good news: Podia handles them for free →

Benjamin Franklin published his takes ~300 years ago.
There’s been a productivity book on the NYT bestseller list every week for at least 20 years.
And yet, people continue to buy.
People buy creators, not content.
Not surprising to see companies that went remote during covid pushing for RTO now.
Meanwhile, remote-first teams from “before it was cool” continue to crush.
They’re both doing the right thing.
Remote only really works if you build the business around it.
