ppl are catching heat for trying to explain "white balance" and its effect on the perception of skin tone value in art & how u can accidentally "whitewash" a char by giving them the wrong scleras & teeth color, which is funny bc i was making a guide on how to avoid this problem

but i dont understand why this color theory concept is making people ANGRY... color theory does matter in how your art is perceived by your audience whether you want it to or not, your intent is kind of irrelevant to what ppl are going to be Seeing

still thinking about this little project 💭 a story about slackers Joanie and Leah who have big dreams of becoming rockstars and are willing to do anything to achieve their goals! besides work hard, of course...

it wasnt exactly purposeful but the style in these drawings feels subconsciously inspired by @dicesinferno hehe /positive i love your design sense and how you imbue personality into all of your character drawings man

can people who care if someone says "OC" instead of "Character" on a website where you have a limited number of letters youre allowed to use on each post get real problems because i'm tired of seeing a new pretentious take about how my Daydreams should be Capital every 2 weeks
