Busy #weaving a No Trump-vember Scarf while watching the poll numbers. Love the white stripe down the center.
So sad to hear Teri Garr died. Such a comedic handful in Young Frankenstein. My favorite: Roll in ze hay youtu.be/RasZ30Nsqm0?si=FAPb… via @YouTube
Had my ballot hand-delivered to the post office today after the news of ballot box burning here. Geez…
My second half of the October Inkle Loom Challenge: Just because it’s election season. My red, white, and blue band. Ta-da!
Finished my green bag (crochet’d). Straps were made on my Inkle loom. Added 4 D rings. First half of the October Inkle Loom Challenge.
What an idiot.
Yes they can control the weather.
It’s ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can’t be done.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Weather manipulation is possible at small scales (for example, “cloud seeding”).
However, weather patterns in general are naturally occurring and cannot be “controlled”. Hurricanes and other large storms cannot be created artificially with modern technology.

I’m matching my band to the macrame cord I’m using to crochet a bag. Basing my design on a Latvian flower band on YouTube, just changed the colors. Fingers crossed this turns out the way it’s supposed to!
Starting the October Inkle Loom Challenge today. Here’s the heddle / unheddle pattern and my thread card to make sure there’s no color boo-boos. This should be fun!
Weaving my blue scarf while listening to the Weather Channel and Dr. Knabb break down Hurricane Helene’s progress (now a Cat 4 w/135 mph).
My birthday yarn came in. 45% silk, 55% merino. So pretty. Oddly, it is the same color as my dahlias. Will have to think on the design for the scarf as I finish up my blue/white scarf. Thinking on the possibilities is the fun part.
My dahlias are just gorgeous. Some animal has been making a bed right in the middle of them. I put down some bamboo sticks to discourage. Mu-haha!
Okay, onto birthday scarf #2. Actually working on this while waiting on my ooo-la-la yarn for birthday scarf #3 to come in. Inspired by curly-n-yarny.com/. Would drive my eyeballs crazy with this yarn, so had to corral the design with dark blue fences. I’ll see if it works.
Oh no, not Clark. RIP sweet boy.

I *loved* the DNC State Roll Call. So invigorating! Of course, Georgia was the best. Here’s the list, npr.org/2024/08/21/g-s1-1818…
