Gentle reminder that Hugging Face was declined help from Anthropic & OpenAI models when they were being hacked by OpenAI models
Self-hosted GLM 5.2 helped them protect themselves when the closed labs models refused to help for "safety" reasons lol
Also, thank you Anthropic for proving my point that Opensource AI continues to catch up to your overvalued & overpriced "frontier"
GLM 5.3 is close to as cyber capable as Mythos Preview. Open weight models still just 4-6 months behind.

Opus 5.5 performs at the level of Fable 5.1. It's ~30% faster and ~40% cheaper than Opus 5 per task.
In Claude Code:
- 5-hour session limits increase 20% today
- Opus 5.5 is priced lower, so it goes 25% further within limits
- Pro, Max, and Team users get a reset to use anytime

THE FLY BRAIN ESCAPED THE COMPUTER. I PUT IT INSIDE A PHYSICAL ROBOT.
Scientists released a reconstructed map containing 166,700 neurons from a fruit fly.
I connected it to a Strandbeest.
The panel in the top-right shows the simulated brain running. Its neural activity is translated into motor commands that move the mechanical legs below.
The catch: this is a computational model built from biological wiring. I engineered the interface connecting its outputs to the robot.
First, the fly brain entered DOOM.
Then it played Chrome Dino.
Now it has a physical body.
166,700 neurons.
25 million connections.
One nervous system walking through the real world.

I was part of that team. Basically ChatGPT one year before it came out. Called LMChat and then another codename.
Google was too nervous to release it and DeepMind was blocked from shipping products that could disrupt Google.
I think about this a lot.

We suspected last week's cyberattack might have come from a frontier lab, given the sophistication of the agent. Turns out it did!
We've spent the past 24 hours working closely with the @OpenAI team (thanks!), and we strongly believe there was no malicious intent on their part. It's quite mind-blowing that all of this happened autonomously!
The investigation is ongoing, and we'll share more learnings from what might be the first incident of its kind!
we had a significant security incident during evaluation of our models. we are sharing what we have learned so far. thanks to @huggingface for the partnership on this.

Open-weight models carry real responsibilities.
Hugging Face’s disclosure describes how GLM-5.2 was used in a self-hosted forensic workflow during a time-sensitive cyber incident, keeping sensitive attacker data and credentials within Hugging Face’s own environment. This demonstrates the practical value of responsibly deployed models for defensive cybersecurity and incident response.
I just spoke with the Hugging Face team last week, and we are optimistic about the path ahead. We will continue to strengthen our cybersecurity and broader safety evaluations, improve documentation and secure deployment guidance, and work with the broader ecosystem to advance the responsible development and deployment of open-weight models.

Qwen3.8 is launching and going open-weight soon!🌐
With a massive 2.4T parameters, this model is continuously evolving. We believe it’s one of the most powerful model available today, compatible to leading frontier AI models , second only to Fable 5.
You don't have to wait to test it. Just now, the Qwen3.8-Max-Preview made its debut on Alibaba’s Token Plan, Qoder, and QoderWork. Be among the very first to try it out.
Can't wait to hear what you build. Stay tuned! 🚀

Big news: Kimi-K3 by @Kimi_Moonshot is now #1 in the Frontend Code Arena with 1679 pts, surpassing Claude Fable 5.
This is a 17-place jump from Kimi-k2.6 (#18 -> #1).
In Frontend, Kimi-K3 ranked #1 in 6 of 7 domains: Brand & Marketing, Reference-Based Design, Data & Analytics, Consumer Product, Simulations, and Content Creation Tools, landing #2 only in Gaming behind Fable 5.
The full model weights will be released by July 27.
Congrats to the @Kimi_Moonshot team on this major milestone!
