A steady day walking along the first part of the Cleveland Way (and end of the Yorkshire Wolds Way) from Filey to Scarborough. Some interesting geology, shame it’s all a bit crumbly - not so good for climbing ☹️ 🧗‍♀️

A gentle jog out with @j_binney in the early morning sunshine. It’s starting to feel a bit chilly on the arms now.

A lovely family holiday week just gone staying in @visitsnowdonia. Climbing 🧗‍♂️ at #Tremadoc, walks in the #Ogwen valley, and #paddleboarding on Llyn Padarn. Even managed to squeeze in a 5km run with the eldest 🏃‍♂️

Today’s adventure was an educational walk around the lead mines above Betws-Y-Coed. We followed the hammer and pick axe trail and looked deep in to some old adits.

A gentle jog out this morning. It’s going to be a good day 😎
On Friday I attended a @britishcaving Update Workshop. This maintains my Cave Instructor Certificate. Topics included, PPE and its application, belts, new bolts and hangers and a very informative talk on bats🦇. We also did a bit of swinging around on ropes and coaching (•|:0)

Yesterday was our final day in the Southern #Cairngorms and it was super. We headed up the remote Glen Clova and in to Glen Doll. The car park was busy but we only saw 3 other couples on our walk. A place we’ll definitely head back to. @VisitCairngrms @angusalive

It’s been chilly by the coast but lovely and warm just a few miles inland. Yesterday we summited Brimmond Hill overlooking Aberdeen. Then we headed to the beach and later had F&C with some prying eyes.
We’ve had a wonderful day. Exploring Royal Deeside, the Prince’s cairn and pizza on the beach.
Today’s run with @j_binney took us over Ickornshaw moor and off the beaten track. Much of it was knee deep bog trotting with a short stint on the #pennineway. Somehow ended up with clean shoes though 🤔💧
